Events

Potluck Suppers and Programs are a traditional part of our Holiday celebrations. Sometimes the main course is provided by the Congregation (Chanukah Pot Roast!) and the rest of the meal is provided by participants. Sometimes the participants are organized to bring everything including the special holiday fare (latkes or hamantashen or chicken soup). Programs can include presentations of plays written by members, musical presentations, etc., and the players may be adults or young people. We enjoy each other, the holiday and the food!

Sunday Brunches include food prepared by volunteers and information provided by members, guests from inside and outside the larger community. Topics range from Judaic to political and beyond. The food is always good and the conversation often provocative.

Theater Parties can include group attendance at a play at Kansas State University, or at the Manhattan Arts Center. We are fortunate to have Playwrights, Actors, Musicians and other talented members, so these evenings are always fun and often include supporting one of "our own".
